Hotel location was very central and able to walk to a lot of the must sees. We felt safe walking at 6:30 am to the Molly Malone statue to meet our day tour. We arrived back about 7:30 pm and it was fine walking back to the hotel. Breakfast was awesome and staff was very friendly.

Clondalkin is close to the centre of Dublin, however the motorways take a bit of gettng used to, if you are not used to such an intricate network of motorways then you might spend a significant amount of time getting lost and going round in circles. However its close to many things and there is a shopping centre close by with all the popular outlets.

Room service is pizza only after 9pm and a choice of two.

Room service is pizza only after 9pm and a choice of two. I got margarita it was vile, expensive and would not recommend. Breakfast was passable but needed improvement and more attentive floor staff .Room perfect, reception staff lovely but clearly using a computer system that causes delays ,it should not take over 10 mins to check someone in when they arrive after peak check in time. We didnt have dinner in the restaurant so cannot comment but avoid room service after 9pm and walk across to burger king...thank me later.

We stayed just one night on our way back from the West and with an early ferry in the morning and so did not have an opportunity to see the area or use local services. It was a useful place to stay for access to the city centre and looked well cared for.

The hotel has got a great location. You can access a lot of different areas of Dublin from here. There are a number of Parkruns that are within easy reach of Clondalkin. I have stayed here before and I would intend to stay here again in the future.

Great parking, a huge shopping centre nearby, & instant access to the main Motorway to the West, a real bonus for a traveller like myself. I ate very comfortably in my room, having bought in food at the Shopping Centre opposite the hotel. The Clayton hotel staff were very efficient and helpful, they made my overnight a very pleasant experience.

Hotel was clean and tidy , staff were nice but not enough in restaurant and bar area on arrival as long wait times. Arrived back that night from Dublin city after being at a concert to be told the bar wasn’t serving . When we checked in that morning the receptionist told us the bar serves till late and there would be no problem To come back to the hotel bar . Fire alarm went off at 8:30am took ages to be turned off . Very disappointed ,

On a business visit to Dublin it was my first time staying at this hotel. I can't praise it highly enough. Everything was first class, the accommodation, the food, so easily accessible from the N7 motorway. I have stayed in hotel accommodation nearby in the past, but this place is much more reasonably priced, both for food and accommodation. I will definitely be returning on my next business trip to Dublin

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Food was delicious from the restaurant. Bar staff were very friendly and professional. Pints of Guinness were pure cream and correct temperature (a rare thing for a hotel). Nice spacious smoking area. Bar/restaurant were spotlessly clean. Free on-site secure parking and taxi call service. Rooms spacious and spotless. Bed very comfortable.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. With our rental car we needed just about 15 minutes into Dublin city centre. The breakfast is really good and it's a full Irish. The only thing missing was a fridge in the room, but that's only for me who likes to have cold drinks. For our next Dublin trip, we certainly will stay here again

Wonderful stay at the Maldron, staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Hotel is very clean and neat, a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. There are 2 bus stops located within 500m where you can catch a but into the city, and with the visitor leap card that we purchased it was much cheaper than using a taxi.
