Wonderful location, facing the mountains. Our room had a great view though it was misty and cloudy most of the time. Fairly large room with a sitting area and plenty of windows to enjoy the view. The restaurant was great, plenty of tasty items during breakfast and dinner menu was good.

Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks...
Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks were a bit disappointing as there was a fair bit of pollution and cloud, so not clear to see. Very cold as well, waiting for sunrise, but plenty of vendors selling hot drinks.
Sherpa Tensing Norgay’s house is a must see( although I didn’t as I became ill), as is ‘toy’ train, which is a narrow train that chugs up and down through nearby towns.
There is a huge Body Shop as well.
Tea plantations are interesting but not open all the time.
Clothing is fairly cheap, especially puffer jackets.

City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit..
City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit.. Entire town streets full of warm clothe shops and nothing else.. however, nearby places are good as usual.. this is my 5th time to the place and not new.. people with 3-4 days time can explore various places, talk to nature, enjoy the cool bridge..

When I first arrived in Darjeeling, I noticed it was crowded and a bit polluted. But, overlooking that, the city offered an amazing view of the Himalayan ranges. The downtown area felt like any other hill station, with cozy cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Despite the hustle and bustle, the real charm of Darjeeling became clear – it's a place where the beauty of nature shines through, making it special despite the city buzz.

Walk around to explore the streets and take in the views.
Walk around to explore the streets and take in the views. The Himalayan Tibetan Museum is worth a visit - small but so interesting. Happy Valley Tea was interesting although it is not operational in December/Jan. Walk up Tiger Hill for the views well worth it - rather than driving. The Zoo was worth it as was the Toy Train. People were friendly, not pushy and helpful. All kinds of food to try. Try Chula for momos!
Manager of hotel was very rude..he don't have manners to talk with their coustomer.
He deny to give my lunch and dinner which already included in my plan. After that, already paid my 8000 rs before check in. When I reach to check in he was saying that I have cancelled my booking. n deny to give room.. lot of problem I face there. and I don't want you should also suffer there. all boys staff were also not good they don't have smile on their face.

Hidden Monkey Stays in Darjeeling is like finding a hidden gem in the mountains. It's the kind of place that feels more like crashing at a friend's cozy cabin than a hotel. The funky decor gives off major chill vibes, and the staff is as friendly as they come. Plus, it's right smack in the middle of all the cool stuff in Darjeeling, so you can stumble out and explore in no time. If you're up for a laid-back, budget-friendly adventure, this spot's got your back(pack).

It was technically my first visit to Darjeeling , the first being when I was a year old so cannot remember, and now I'm 49.
The hotel isn't close to the mall...it's way is steep . it's actually close to the famous St Paul's school.
I really had a peaceful rest and comfort in a most scenic atmosphere I was searching for. The staff is excellent, polite and friendly.
This homestay is run by such a lovely family and they made me feel welcome and part of the family! The house is spacious and modern, and the small budget bedroom which I rented was perfect for one person. The room and bathroom were both really clean and had everything you need for a short stay. I enjoyed being a little away from the busy centre of Darjeeling.
It was quite an experience to stay at Olive tej Hotel Darjeeling. It is located at the heart of the mall with the Glenarys' right in front of it. The staff team was very welcoming and helpful; and our room was beautiful. But what we enjoyed the most was the lemon tea that they served and we are still looking for the anonymous tea leaves 😊😊
Our stay at Nayna homestay was exceptionally peaceful, relaxing and the best view from the balcony. Our host were the best people you can ever meet. I guess i ended up booking this homestay randomly but had the best couple of days here. Will definitely stay here again if back to Darjeeling.
No cleanliness, hygiene and badly maintained infrastructure with flush not working in some rooms. Walls damp and stinking rooms. We had a horrible Darjeeling experience just because of the stay. Please don’t get fooled by the photos shared or rating of this hotel.
The view of Kanchenjungha and Darjeeling from the room was amazing and breathtaking. The staffs at the hotel were very cooperative and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well maintained and designed. It was perfect for a family trip with elderly and kids.
Good Place for stay. Staff Behaviour was nice and Beautiful view from Terrace. Mall road which is the main market in Darjeeling is near from Hotel. only approach road is narrow and upside but don't worry this type of problem is very common in Darjeeling.
Arya the guy was fantastic his behaviour was fantastic room was fantastic everything was fantastic one of my memorable day I have spend in the Darjeeling..
Please visit this hotel if you planning to visit Darjeeling his mobile no is 8637023918.
The hotel was super clean with friendly staff members. It was parking and is closer to batasia loop on the main road. The location is wonderful as you can reach Darjeeling main market within 6kms and yet enjoy your serenity of nature
I have visited many cities of India.. but the kind of fresh, delicious and hygienic food,
neat and clean room and
most well behaved staff..
I got at Tharbaling homestay in Darjeeling,
I never found such a outstanding hotel.. 👍👍
Very accommodating, friendly owner and a great host. Considering the budget this is the best place Darjeeling can offer. The view from room is breathtaking.
