You can’t miss Ahmedabad even though it is chaotic.
You can’t miss Ahmedabad even though it is chaotic. You have to make an online booking for the Calico Museum ahead of time. The Hathee Singh Temple, the Sabarmati riverfront and the step-wells are worth seeing. The traffic is dreadful but the tuk-tuk drivers will always get you to your destination.

We came to Ahmedabad after several days in Gurgaon/Delhi.
We came to Ahmedabad after several days in Gurgaon/Delhi. Ahmedabad seemed so much cleaner, quieter and nicer than where we had been. We enjoyed our visit to the IIM campus, the NID campus and to the Gandhi ashram. We took a walking tour of old Ahmedabad and the guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole city come alive for us. We took a walk on the promenade by the river. The food in the hotel was exceptional. The hospitality was excellent. We did not have time to visit Law Gardens in the evening or take a detailed tour of the other architecturally significant buildings in Ahmedabad. perhaps next time.
