Rose Cottage is a secluded haven in the heart of Shimla. Located just a stone’s throw away from the Shimla Ridge, this colonial home offers you a warm welcome and exquisite views of the Shimla hills. With vintage wooden floors and ceilings, warm floral furnishings, and a lot of soul, you'll feel at home in no time at all. It was initially bought in the 1930s by Col. Sir Buta Singh, who was from a family of the “Chiefs of Punjab” and was a member of the Council of States. Rose Cottage is special because of its: - Serene & peaceful location in the heart of Shimla - Stunning views of the mountains. - Cosy wooden floors and ceilings with luxurious interiors - Charming sunroom with a classic Drawing Room. - Curated collection of amenities like barbecue, bonfire, indoor games, etc. - Vast open spaces - Proximity to Mall road, and nearby hikes, & trails This is neither a wheelchair-friendly, nor a pet-friendly property. FOOD - All meals can be provided in-house at an additional cost on an a la carte basis. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. - Outside food is not allowed. ADD-ON SERVICES - Barbeque kit can be provided at an additional cost of Rs. 1500. - Washing machines can be used at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per day. - A bonfire can be lit up at an additional cost of Rs. 1500 for a duration of 2 hours. - A guided nature walk can be arranged at an additional cost. - A traditional Himachali Dhaam meal and a Chef’s special meal can be arranged at an additional cost. - Decor set up, live singer & dhol can be arranged at an additional cost. - Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.
