We needed to extend our stay in Verona an extra day but not pay the high, last minute prices in the city center. La Casa di Varda was a perfect place to recharge for the evening and it was very close to Porta Vescovo which made our next morning’s travel very easy. The communion from the host was the best and the place was incredibly clean. It was a 30 minute walk to the arena and the property is just outside the city wall by a block or two.

Ernesto was there for the check in and was really friendly. He even carried our bags. He also gave us ditections and inside knowledge about the bus, restaurants etc. There was a littke general kitchen with even a fridge if you wanted to use it.

Ernesto was very gentle to reiceive in the Casa di Varda and show us around. He gave excellent recommendations on food, wine, sweets and romantic places to visit. We would absolutely recommend this for everybody! Also, the location is excellent.

Nel complesso è un’ottima struttura, letto comodo e cuscini un po troppo alti però non male! Bagno pulitissimo con vasca e finalmente è la prima volta che dopo una doccia non si fa uno schifo a terra però avrei preferito un tappetino invece ho dovuto mettere l’asciugami del viso! In bagno manca una luce sopra lo specchio, in stanza manca uno specchio e questo è stato un po’ scocciante ma nel complesso il soggiorno è stato ottimo! Lontano un po’ dal centro però a due passi c’è una fermata dell’autobus ma il problema è che il tabacchi vicino la struttura lo abbiano trovato sempre chiuso! Il check-in è stato semplice, la signora ci ha fornito tutti le indicazioni e i codici per prendere le chiavi e ci siamo trovati bene! Nel complesso la consiglio
