This was one of the nicest and most beautiful Agritourism stays that we have visited in several extended visits in Italy. The area is spectacular. And the swimming pool is clean refreshing and lovely. The rooms are surprisingly large as well. I highly recommend this to anyone would like to go hiking or simply enjoy the views in the Garfagnana. The hostess was wonderful, kind and helpful. Right after we arrived she made a reservation for us at a local restaurant which was truly out of this world. Go to “Bepe’s” if you love mushrooms. They ONLY serve dishes made from wild mushrooms! Be aware, however, at the road up to this hotel is extremely tiny. Do not try to Drive there with a large car or camper van.

n 2004, after obtaining a degree in Biological Sciences in Pisa and the premature death of my father, I decided to continue this activity. Inside you will find many of my paintings on display and lots of colour. I am obsessed with wooden toys, in fact in the breakfast room you will find many of them... It's nice to see children of different nationalities playing with each other who are able to communicate without saying a word, but just by smiling and playing. I am the mother of Agnese and Amelia. I try to manage the farm in the best possible way, with enthusiasm and a great desire to do. I'm not perfect, but I put my heart into what I do.

The structure is a house built in stone and dates back to 1771 and was completely renovated from 2002 to 2004; The structure is made up of three floors: On the ground floor there is a large breakfast room with fireplace, kitchen with wood-burning oven, barbecue with gazebo, a laundry room. On the first floor there are three apartments: Oreste apartment (3+2), Bruno apartment (2+1) and Gianni apartment (2+1). On the second floor we find: the Sandri apartment (2+3), the Amelia apartment (2+1) and the Moretta apartment (3+2). All apartments are equipped with dishes, everything for cooking, sheets, towels and pool towels. Inside each apartment you will find a guide written by me in Italian and English with the most beautiful places to visit. Furthermore, all the suggestions and characteristics of the restaurants in our area. Outside, a beautiful panoramic swimming pool (6 meters by 12 metres) 150 cm deep over the entire surface; all around tables, deckchairs, chairs and umbrellas.

Neighborhood info

BARGA one of the hundred most beautiful villages in Italy, an important medieval town which, under the free protection and influence of Florence, saw the rise of beautiful and important historic buildings. Even more important and from an architectural point of view unique is the Barga Cathedral, built from the 10th century up to the 16th century. Not to be forgotten are the convent of Santa Elisabetta and that of San Francesco, unique for the exemplary sacred depictions of Della Robbia lands (School of Andrea Della Robbia); the 17th century Teatro dei Differenti, Palazzo Pancrazi and many other stately palaces and villas. 4 km from Barga, we find the small town of Castelvecchio Pascoli, where the poet Giovanni Pascoli lived and died. GARFAGNANA Worth visiting in its entirety, starting from Castelnuovo G., the Monte Alfonso fortress, up to the Orecchiella natural park, easily reachable by car or with mountain bike excursions. ..and so on! Particular of its kind is the Orrido di Botri, a small natural canyon dug into the rock by the Fegana Torrent, the beautiful Grotta del Vento, the Ponte del Diavolo or della Maddalena, dating back to the 10th century.
