If you are thinking to come to Cividale but you want to enjoy the country life and stay in a typical Friulian country house, the B&B Marie Therese is right up your alley. The building is located in the hamlet of Torreano (UD), a small village of just over two hundred inhabitants. Nearby you will find everything you need to better enjoy your stay: supermarkets, shops and much more. The location is ideal for those who love peace and want to escape from hectic city life. The whole building is provided by free internet connection, parking, a private entrance and a huge garden. The house has two floors and you can book the rooms individually, or the entire floor. On the first floor there is a double room with private bathroom, a comfortable and spacious breakfast room with a kitchenette and fridge at guests' disposal. For those who wish to have more privacy and comfort, at the upper floor there are a single and a double room (with the possibility of twin beds), a private bathroom and a comfortable and spacious living room with sofa and TV, for exclusive use. All the rooms on the upper floor are decorated with exposed beams and wooden floor.
I have been working as interior designer for my family business and I restored the b&b by my self. I am a traveller and I like motorbiking around, discovering always new places. During my spare time I am interested in photography and open-air activities such as trekking, biking and motorcycling. All activities which have helped me to get to know my area better. So, if you like, it will be a pleasure for me create a personal itinerary just for you.
Montina is a small district of Torreano, a characteristic place for its location and its manifold activities. Its territory, half in plain and half in the mountains, requires different ways of life and activities related mainly to the nature of the soil. The population, Friulian and Slovenian ethnicity, characterizes an ancient and peaceful coexistence. Local activities are among the most varied, such as agricultural, craft and wooded. This bucolic picture of rural life is the background to the churches of St. Ermacora and Fortunato, dating back to 1400, and that of San Rocco, 1482. You can visit the caves "Foran of Landri" and "Foran des Aganis" important archaeological sites Friuli.
