The rural home is made up of 3 units with an external area. Each unit, dedicated to famous local place, is completely furnished. The apartment “ERICE” can accommodate from 2 to 4 persons. The apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen/living room well-furnished. The apartment “SEGESTA” can accommodate from 2 to 4 persons. The apartment has one bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen/living room well-furnished with a double sofa-lit. If requested, a second bedroom - usually closed and used by the staff - can be at your disposal paying a small extra (it can accomodate other 2 people). The apartment “SCOPELLO” can accommodate from 2 to 4 persons. The apartment has one bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen/living room well-furnished with a double sofa-lit. If you are more groups, you can rent the three apartments (contact us for more info). The house has been renovated in 2015 thanks to the European Project P.O. FESR 2007/2013. Works have safeguarded the architectural techniques characterizing this type of buildings. Nevertheless, new technologies have been adopted and the house is insulated and equipped with solar panels and central air-conditioning system.

Neighborhood info

The name of Buseto Palizzolo derives from the Arabic word “Busit” (ground) and the Palizzolo’ family to which it was assigned in 1563 by Carlo V. The foundation of the current town dates back to 1950, 18 kilometres from Trapani, in a large wide valley between Mount Erice and the archaeological site of Segesta. The territory of Buseto Palizzolo was the natural street of connection between the two ancient Elymian cities of Erice and Segesta as proved by the presence of a large number of farming house (the so-called “Baglio”) used as residence by ancient family farmer. The countryside of Buseto Palizzolo is dipped in a great landscape and has a peculiar urban structure for which it is named “Ru-rbano” to symbolize a mix of rural characteristic and urban ones. Buseto Palizzolo maintains its agricultural vocation but has strongly invested into the tourist industry in the last years. Very close to the crystal-clear water of Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo, it is just few kilometres distant from the most important historical and cultural locations of Segesta and Trapani. Al-basyta is perfect if you want visit the province of Trapani and have a relaxing stay too.
