Fabulous historic villa in wonderful landscape. Authentic home with fascinating details. A sincere glimpse into our hosts history and lives. Guest rooms are en suite, with windows opening onto the iconic Tuscan landscape. Guests have an informal sitting area, a formal sitting area, and a fully fitted common kitchen making meal preparation or just tea or coffee imminently possible. Breakfast is included. Modern cuisine in a chic environment restaurant on site. The estate produces its own wine and olive oil. Be sure to walk the garden to the lemon tree house, with lemon trees in terra cotta pots. A spring fed swimming pool available in the summer. The village is a short stroll from the front door, with shops and an excellent bakery with coffee and gelato. The owner and her daughter are gracious and friendly hosts. I could while away hours in the area, returning to the home atmosphere of this authentic Tuscan residence.

Farmhouse building on property has a ground floor double bedroom that does not require stair climbing. Nice restaurant in village. !5 minutes from Siena. stay in farmhouse has a room on ground floor that does nt require stair climbing. However there is no tv on ground floor.

The entire place was very authentic and atmospheric at the same time. You get to sleep in an original Tuscan fortress, a kind of classicist, palazzo-like building from the 19th century. It's definitely very unique and together with the whole surrounding, the adjacent buildings and a nice, countryside garden (maybe it can even be considered an English style park), it creates an unforgettable, original and nice place to stay. If you want to experience a genuine, Tuscan countryside, atmosphere and yes, with countryside simplicity and it's limitations, it's a perfect place for a lazy, relaxing vacation time. It doesn't get more Tuscan than Fattoria Di Cavaglioni. The owners and staff are very nice, welcoming and helpful and the restaurant on site is the highest sort, with authentic, Tuscan cuisine. Definitely recommend it.

The Fattoria di Cavaglioni is just an amazing place to stay. I spent there a week alone to work, do some studies and enjoying Tuscany beside (it‘s also a good starting place to follow some amazing routes on your bike). The history of this place permeates every corner, adorned with lovely details. My room was beautifully appointed, providing the perfect retreat. The tranquility and the spacious greenery of the estate created an idyllic setting that I greatly enjoyed. The warm and attentive nature of the family running this estate made my stay even more enjoyable. Help was always provided. In the house there is everything you need. Rooms for relaxing and a good furnished and comfortable kitchen. Also try the (family owned) restaurant on the areal and buy some wine and olive oil, it‘s worth it!

It is an honor to be able to stay in this beautiful place with a long history. They are cultivating, preserving and sharing cultural heritage well. The owner and daughter there are very kind and considerate. He held my heavy carrier together. Also, I almost couldn't eat breakfast because of the early morning check-out on my last day, but I was able to eat breakfast early because she called me a taxi and was considerate. The break time in the bio pool was really peaceful. The bus stop was right in front of me, so it was easy to get to Siena. The village was within walking distance, so it was convenient to buy what you needed from the coop. I will come back here again next summer.
