The Hrdo House room was excellent. The host truly wants to ensure that you enjoy your stay at the apartment and in Ortigia. He graciously picked me up from the bus station so that I didn’t have to walk with my luggage in the heat. Then after showing me the apartment he took me on a quick tour around the town so that I got a feel for the place. The apartment is very convenient and is a short walk to all the major sites in Ortigia, including the waterfront. It is well laid out and has everything one could need including a refrigerator and burners so you can make basic food. There was a split of Prosecco and typical Sicilian cookies greeting me upon my arrival. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good with constant hot water and there were toiletries and a hair dryer. The host provided me via WhatsApp with a list of recommended sites, restaurants and was very responsive if I needed anything or had a question. I highly recommend HRDO House.
