The Antica Caiatia Bed & Breakfast has 3 rooms, and is a historic residence located in the historic center of Caiazzo (CE), a small village on the hills of the upper Caserta. Mine is a historical generation of Caiazzo, my great-grandfather Archimede Lombardi and following my grandfather Alfredo and dad Arturo who was born in the structure; have always believed and invested in this fairy place, legends tell that Caiazzo was founded by Calatia, a nymph daughter of Tifata, ardently loved by the god Volturno, who took refuge in this place to escape the wrath of her father. The ancient writers spoke of it as a "perantiqua", that is, an ancient city, while ancient historians claim that Caiatia was founded by the Osci between the ninth and eighth centuries BC. ; In 2019, we completed the renovation of the structure, but many details have remained unchanged over time: the entrance door in fine wood, taken up by local craftsmen, the flooring of the entrance hall in living stone, the flooring of the stairwell in terracotta, internal wooden doors, cast iron railings, vaulted ceilings.

Last but not least, if you want to spend a few hours of relaxation you are in the right place, come and visit us for walks in the historic center and taste traditional food from the local restaurateurs. You will find the best Italian Pepe in Grani pizzeria, and much more as producers of mozzarella, oil and local wines, all of which can be savored by organizing on request with welcome tours in our area.
