Welcome to CA' GIALLA - APARTMENT NR. 2! A modern and cosy flat, situated in a quiet residential area, named after the unmistakable yellow colour of the house in which it is located, in the Lombard dialect. It comfortably accommodates 3 PEOPLE, is located on the FIRST FLOOR of a building consisting of six flats, and in furnishing it we have thought about the smallest details, so that you will not miss anything during your stay. We are waiting for you!
Hi everyone! I'm DANIELA, I manage different properties on the lakes Maggiore, Lugano and Como (north Italy). I started hosting guests in the family apartment (this one!) and then turned it into a job. I love traveling and photographing, meeting new people and exchanging stories. It will be a pleasure for me to host you and let you discover this little piece of world!
On foot you can reach the center and lakefront of PONTE TRESA, numerous supermarkets and grocery stores where you can buy typical Italian delicacies; the village comes alive on Saturdays with the weekly market. It is also a strategic point to reach the ITALIAN - SWISS BORDER of Ponte Tresa, ideal for those who have to travel to Switzerland for work or for those who are on vacation and want to visit the beauty that surrounds us. LUGANO is only 11 km away and can be easily reached by train, which leaves every 20 minutes from Ponte Tresa station (Swiss shore). There are numerous villages, overlooking the lake, that are worth visiting, even better by boat or by hiring a boat (even without a licence!): don't miss MORCOTE with its Scherrer Park and GANDRIA. VARESE, a city famous for its villas and gardens, can be reached by bus, and MILANO and COMO can be reached comfortably by train in about an hour and a half. For SPORTS and NATURE ENTHUSIASTS, we are surrounded by mountains and hiking/cycling trails. The Swiss valleys, such as the VERZASCA VALLEY and the MAGGIA VALLEY, are not to be missed. LAKE MAGGIORE, with the Borromean Islands, cities such as Luino, Bellinzona and Ascona are also close by.
