Vasto is not too big and not too small.
Vasto is not too big and not too small.
A large number of good restaurants.
And not too far for wineries or trabocchi.
After a month of visiting very small old towns in Puglia, we were happy that Vasto had more to offer.

I loved this Hotel!
I loved this Hotel! The staff were helpful on arrival and throughout my stay. The room was comfortable with a balcony and bathroom. The room serviced daily and the breakfast had many choices and was great. Across the road a small church with a rest area, views over the coast and ocean.
A short stroll to the park, a delightful walk by the children's play area and the pond, a small Cafe and fountain, cross the road and you are in the old town. Restaurants, bars, shopping and a history dating back before Greek settlement. I recommend this Hotel for travelers to Vasti.

When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale.
When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale. It is absolutely amazing, just a short drive from Vasto city center. The property is right on the Adriatic, with both a terrace and balcony overlooking beautiful landscaping and with steps down to the shore. The hosts are very welcoming, and, boy, did they put out a spread for breakfast! And, unlike much of Italy, they actually have secured parking for a large vehicle. Highly recommended.

Go for the beaches and nature area!
Go for the beaches and nature area! There’s quite a few paved and off road trails for biking and walking. The natural reserve at Punta Aderci is gorgeous but there’s also several small beaches just north of the historic Centre of Vasto. Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of more well known beach cities, without sacrificing any of the beauty or Italian experience. Definitely recommend renting bikes for a day or two!

Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings.
Old city that charms you with its well preserved buildings. The modern fusions with the tradition just in perfectly harmony. People is kind and beaches are to die for.
Hanging around the Piazza makes you feel like a character from Fellini's film, isn't easy to get around Vasto, but believe me when I say the magic from the place worth's to be experienced.

Vasto offers wonderful fine dining experiences that are a must-go places such as Bottega Culinaria, CiboMatto, La spasetta e molti altri. Greatest sea on the east coast of Italy facing Greece, a place to relax and enjoy life to its best.
Al faro bianco is an amazing bed and breakfast, the room was so clean and comfortable. The staff was so kind, especially the lady who gave us good recommendations and was always attentive and pleasant to our needs. We went with our dog, and they were so nice with him, he really enjoyed his stay there. Whoever has a dog and wants to enjoy their stay in Vasto, I really recommend this place. We hope we will be able to come back some day.
We had an amazing stay at Dolce Casa. The BnB is super clean, the rooms are spacious, and the host, Franco, provided an abundant breakfast. He bought fresh cornetti each morning, and served an assortment of other sweets, yogurt, toast, juices, etc. Franco is such a kind person and genuinely cares about his guests. He went above and beyond to make our stay in Vasto incredible. I cannot recommend this bnb enough!
Despite the location in the middle of the industrial area of Vasto, the place is super nice and calm with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay at walking distance from the natural reserves of Punta Aderci and Punta Pinna.
There’s a fully equipped kitchen that can be used by guests (we appreciated the fridge to have frozen water for the beach).
Definitely recommended!
There was no breakfast. Water and fruit juice cartons were provided in a small fridge.
We liked Vasto as a place to visit. A 10 minute walk to the centro storico.
The en-suite bathroom has a good shower with abundant hot water - unfortunately the lavatory seat was not attached properly. Bath towels were fresh and replaced after 2 days.
this hotel pays attention to every detail. the interior design is impeccable. breakfast was simple but very good choices. location is perfect, just behind the most scenic view of Vasto and many restaurants around the vicinity. the host is super nice and very accommodating, she frequently messages me and replies to my messages right away
The spacious apartment with large balcony with seaview and the pool. There’s even an elevator to the apartment. The host(s) were extremely thoughtful and helpful. It was hotel worthy. Everthing was thoughtafter, also breakfast was taken care of in the fridge and cupboard’s. In the evening we were invited to a bbq with local dishes.
Nicola was the most delightful and helpful host. the apartment was in the perfect location on the main street with practically everything at your doorstep. The rooms were large and finished with style and minimalism. We had a wonder stay at the accommodation and the beautiful town of Vasto. Will definitely visit again.
The breakfast was perfect! The view was absolutely amazing. We have never been to Italy, let alone Vasto and we believe we were in a perfect location! Quick drive down to the beach. Not an easy walk down to the beach, but we did do it once (age 31). Easy walk to Vasto's downtown area.
It was very close to city centre, very large and very clean. There was everything that must be at home so we felt at home and our lovely owner Antonella took is from the terminal bus and left back. If I come Vasto again it will be our second home. Thanks Antonella...
I loved the warm Welcome by Mario and his daughters. The apartment (new) and the breakfast freshly made by Mario himself. Also location wise you are super close to the amazing natural reserve of Punta Aderci, Vasto city and vastò marina.
fabulous location on a small bay with crystal clear waters. No restaurant in the evenings meant we had to travel to eat but there were good restaurants nearby and the hotel's beach bar made decent panini for lunch. We loved our stay
All was perfect and exceptional! Unfortunately the good restaurant was closed due to low season, but that's life!
Do not trust poor reviews of this hotel, it's a very nice one, believe a 48hotel-per-year-traveller like me
Having stayed in 5 different locations in Vasto over the years this was definitely the best - walking distance from beachfront, old town and a little local deli and coffee shop for the morning's first coffee and pastry.
The hotel is located in the very centre od Vasto. The facility is beautiful, decorated with heart and passion, and dedicated totally to the comfort od guests. The owner is extremely caring and helpful.
The location. So close (5 minute walk) to Padre Pio shrine but in the not so busy area, away from the crowds. We love the pathway from/to Padre Pio to hotel. Bonus - it has a wonderful spa!
This is a very-well run hotel with extra helpful personnel. It is fairly centrally located in Vasto and it is an easy walk to the main sights. The breakfast is excellent and abundant.
