Hotel Solvestro had the best breakfast spread out of all of our stays. It was relieving to have so many options to choose from to start our day. The location was fantastic as it was either a five minute drive or a 30 minute beautiful, scenic walk into town. The compound offers two pools which were wonderful to relax at and recharge. It has a gym to workout in and stretch to help combat travel aches. We also were delighted to eat at the restaurant at the hotel with delicious local dishes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand award. This is a great place to stay overall in Tuscany as it allows day trips to all of Tuscany’s treasures.

Hotel Sovestro is surrounded by pine trees, vineyards and olive trees, just 0.9 mi from San Gimignano's towers. It features 2 swimming pools, a free gym and characteristic restaurant. Wi-Fi is free and a free shuttle service from the hotel to the town and back is available on request. Rooms at the Sovestro are decorated with Tuscan, walnut furnishings and offer a patio or balcony. All feature a private bathroom with shower and a 32" LCD TV with Sky channels. Just a few yards from the entrance is the hotel's Da Pode restaurant, originally a farmhouse. It serves characteristic Tuscan cuisine using the freshest, locally produced ingredients. In the shared TV room you can enjoy watching sports such as Moto Grand Prix and Formula 1 for free. A panoramic walk leading to San Gimignano in about 30 minutes starts only 164 feet from the hotel.
