Ibrahim
Our Camp is located deep within the UNESCO Wadi Rum protected area, nestled at the base of huge sandstone mountains which have a mysterious valley to explore. The camp is ideal for relaxation, away from light and sound pollution, and comes equipped with clean bathrooms, showers and restaurant facilities.  Our traditionally woven black sheepskin tents are spacious, and offer beds with comfortable mattresses. There are 24 tents in the camp, of varying sizes, suitable for various group sizes. These are located 14 km from the wadi rum village or 19 km from the visitor center, which is significantly more isolated than many camps. Each day we serve a traditional bedouin buffet dinner, cooked under the sand. After dinner, we will sit in front of the bonfire watching starry skies, drink tea and share stories. It is truly a destination with a real fairy-tale place at night, with gorgeous sunsets just ahead of the camps, a perfect and genuine desert experience to be discovered!
My name is Ibrahim, grew up and raised in this area. We’re a local bedouin team serving the Wadi Rum Protected Area. Since Wadi Rum has been connected to our ancestors through centuries, we are proud to show you what is hidden inside here and can share with you the local experience which you can't find elsewhere. Since kids and ancient times, we have been wandering the desert for a hundred years. This has made us truly experts in the desert. We provide all of our bespoke services in house and as trained designers, we are able to carry out any personal patterned and special request to ensure all of the service is delivered astoundingly. Our team know the Jordanian desert like the back of our hands and can reveal to you its beauty and mystery.  Our logo provides small groups but big experience !
There are many ways to explore this fragile, unspoiled desert retreat. Serious trekkers will be drawn to Wadi Rum, with challenging climbs some 1750 m high, while casual hikers can enjoy an easy course through the colorful hills and canyons. Naturalists will be drawn to the desert in springtime, when rains bring the greening of the hills and an explosion of 2000 species of wildflowers. Red anemones, poppies and the striking black iris, Jordan's national flower, all grow at will by the roadside and in more quiet reaches. Stunning in its natural beauty, Wadi Rum epitomizes the romance of the desert. Now the home of several Bedouin tribes, Wadi Rum has been inhabited for generations. These hospitable and friendly desert people are settled in Wadi Rum in scattered nomadic camps throughout the area. Visitors who are invited to share mint tea or cardamom coffee in their black tents, perhaps sitting by the fire under a starry desert sky, will have an experience not to be forgotten. Wadi Rum is an ideal location for hiking, climbing and trekking. It is a popular tourist attraction for those whom nature entices to explore its magical beauty. This distance gives Wadi Rum its unique characteristic as a remote and peaceful area.
