The location was perfect which is right in front of the river. I had a good experience supported by the hotel staff. If I need to complain something, it would be wifi connection. But, overall it’s good. It worths spending your money!

it was a very remarkable stay! this hotel located at the heart of NP which means you’ll be able to go for a game drive very easily and freaquently. the staff were super friendly, we felt like we were at home, specially Sam the reception guy, he was very kind. the rooms are relatively comfortable and equipped, fortunately the manager upgraded our room to a tent with river view, we had a view of hippos laying down just in front of our tent which was fascinating! and if you come to this camp, I highly recommend to attend a Balloon flight, it worth every penny!

Amazing place in Masai Maara, super friendly staff with some really good food everyday. Game drives and breakfast in bushes balloon rides everything was handled with such hospitality! Definitely coming back here. We got the chalet room facing the river, here's the thing: the river has hippos that grunt a lot and make a lot of different noises (not to mention the smell) and trees with a lot of chirpy birds, if you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a room away from that area. We didn't mind any of it given how tired we retired to bed but I can see how this can be a deal breaker to some.

Fig Tree Camp is a dream come true. It is the perfect backdrop and starting point for an authentic safari experience. From the hippo-filled river to the Maasai staff and the monkeys on the tree hut terrace. Our safari guide, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to show us the Big Five and countless other wonderful creatures. Peter, the guard, made sure our tent was safe from crocodiles and pointed out visiting wildlife. Moses, the room butler, not only made sure our tent was comfortable, but also that we could take a hot shower in the afternoon. The restaurant and bar served very tasty food and drinks with many healthy options, and the pool was a bonus for the kids. It is a beautifully situated camp that is conveniently located near Keekorok airstrip as well as the Maara river. We highly recommend a stay at Fig Tree camp, it has a very special place in our memories.
