The stay with the family was absolutely fabulous!! We just loved everything about it. The room (upstairs, with double bed) is spacious and comfortable, and has everything needed for a short or long stay. We actually left the luggage on our way to Son Kul (and stayed again with them since we loved it!). They have 4 wonderful girls (incredibly nice, well behaved and kind) and the couple speak good English and can help with anything you may need. The breakfast is simply amazing! There was so much food (and so colourful and yummy) that I didn't know where to start. They also serve it at the time of your convenience. We just loved it and cannot wait to go back again!

I went in the end of Winter/start of Spring (end March/start April), and there weren't other guests around. Weather was still cold but room was warm with heater provided. Location was great as it was walkable distance to the main road and bus station. The mountain view as you walk out the gate, is spectacular. Toilet and shower is separate so that is useful for when there are other guests. Owner's son can help arrange trips, and he does this efficiently! :)
