Really amazing cosy hostel, well located and small enough to make people socialize easily. It was extraordinarily clean and well equipped, and of course the price is very fair.

Our private twin room was so cozy! It had a spacious closet and lovely afternoon light. The kitchen area was very tidy, the showers were hot and clean, the outdoor space was peaceful, and other guests were friendly and courteous. Staff was very helpful too: they helped us store our luggage and book a room (at Elza Guesthouse - we highly recommend!) for our overnight hike to Altyn Arashan.

Great social environment in the hostel in the common area. Everything was clean. Good location, near everything. Staff was kind and welcoming and helpful. They have instructions on how to get to many of the major sites in the area, which is very helpful. Lockers available for bags in the room.

The staff was welcoming and so helpful! Many thanks to Nursultan. He helped me numerous times during my stay in situations when he didn't really have to (thank you for the sneakers and the jam!). The room itself was always clean, and the cleaning staff was also friendly and professional. In the hostel, there was both the space to hang out with others and the space where you can work or study. Worth mentioning: the chessboard they have is a piece of art! Moreover, you can order a tasty breakfast for a reasonable price (vegan option included). The location is also good, there're bars, stores, parks, a mosque and a church nearby. The ski base is not so far away.

We stayed in a private room with a queen bed. Nice newly renovated hostel. Everything is clean and new. 3 shower stalls and 3 toilet stalls, though only 2 of each were open while we were there. The staff did a good job keeping everything clean. They have a washing machine, so laundry is possible for 150 som. The location is convenient for navigation around the region (walking distance to major taxi/bus hubs, which is especially important in Karakol, where everything is spread out).
