It is a beautiful old town. Perfect for swimming in the sea and then going for a stroll. We stayed only one day so did not have a chance to visit any attractions. There are loads of places to eat and drink. The only downside is the prices. It was more expensive than we'd thought. Shop around because prices vary a lot.

A wonderful historic town with everything within walking distance. A lot of very good restaurants and absolutely everyone was friendly and welcoming. Some great beach restaurants on both main beaches, one very rocky and one beautifully sandy.

Very nice city for walking, site seeing, dining, hanging out, etc. Its old souk is one of the most famous in Lebanon, and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. Walking and sitting by the sea at the old port is quite a relaxing experience.

Very nice place with amazing sunset!
Very nice place with amazing sunset! We stayed in Beirut for 3 days and in Byblos(Jbeil) for another 3 days. But you don't have to stay that much in Beirut, Byblos is more relaxing. You can visit historical places and also you may have summer holiday. Very great bars and restaurants in center, you will not get bored'
The room had a view on the Crusader's castle. The staff was available to help, kind, with humor and curiosity. They also did help to find a taxi back to Beirut for $ 15 instead of the $ 30 demanded by a driver I took to go to Jbeil. This guy, named Paul, was a bit too much: he exacted $ 25 to go to Jbeil while the current normal rate is $ 10, and he even boasted to be the cousin of the hotel's owner. L'Abeille d'Or, a shop on the same street, sells delicious Lebanese sweets, ;ast but not least the knefa (kunefe).
The location of the hotel was fantastic. Easy walk into the old town of Byblos and restaurants only a few minutes away. The staff at the hotel were awesome. Super friendly and welcoming and make our stay all the more better. The hotel is basic and the room finish and appointments are humble (3 star) but the value for money is great. One of our measures of a good hotel is the water pressure in the shower, and this hotel was awesome! we had a great stay and would definitely recommend for others.
Claire was extremely lovely, giving us recommendations in the area and adding a personal touch. There was accessible parking at the property and it is a 3 minute drive to Byblos souk which is lovely at all hours of the day. It is also 20 minutes away from Jounieh, which is a great area full of amazing restaurants. The hotel was extremely clean and they were sure to cater to all our needs. I will most definitely be staying at Byblostar when I return to Lebanon.
This hotel is a very nice hotel with very good location. Everywhere was neat and tidy and the staff were generally helpful. The views from the hotel room and dining area were breathtaking. I will also recommend you go on a date to the on premise restaurant. You can also hire one of their pods on the beach. It's really beautiful. They were renovating when we got there in early March so I believe when they are done the place will look even better.
The view was awesome, the owner and the staff members were really warm and helpful, and you felt like you are living with a family. Furthermore, the breakfast was delicious, I especially enjoyed labneh. The place was super clean and maintained really well, if you also think about the unstable situation in Lebanon right now, and it was mostly quiet. I would like to come back one day!
I love how friendly and efficient the staff is! They really take great care of their guests to make sure all their needs are met. Elvier, the manager goes out of her way to help! The location of the hotel is fabulous! Right on the beach with an amazing view from the balcony. One minute walk to shops, restaurants, boats in old town Byblos. The rooms are clean and cozy

I really liked the staff. They were very supportive and nice. I also liked the cleanliness and how quiet the hotel is. My special regards to Algazhya, he is such a kind man who helped us with everything we need. Also, the lady who runs the hotel was kind and sweet, she helps us with facilitating the PCR arrangement to head back home to Iraq!
it is not common in lebanon to find kind employees, but the working staff here are so kind! like so much. and they are so helpful!
the location also is so good. you can walk in 5 mins only to any where you want in byblos..
also, the breakfast is so good, and deserve 10 over 10
very chic with all amenities available, no electricity cuts or any inconvenience that I heard about before visiting lebanon; perfect location close to everything. Owner is very friendly, gave us great recommendations for places to visit.
will certainly be back soon.
- Good location next to restaurants and within walking distance to the souk
- Comfortable room in a new hotel with good AC and hot water
- Breakfast was good with multiple options, but was a bit late coming out so we didn't get to try everything
Staff was wonderful!
After hard teams in Libanon, hotel is working hard to get everything ready .
Beautiful location , the swimbay at the sea: fantastic!
Unfortunately was the gym still closed after Corona
Hotel location is great for exploring Byblos on foot or going to swim at beach. The breakfast room on 4th floor has a spectacular view. Breakfast was adequate. Staff are all friendly.
I am so lucky that I have the sea view from my balcony it was so refreshing when you wake up in the morning . The breakfast is amazing , they served it like in 5 star hotel
The hotel is very good overall and I would come again , the staff are hospitable and helped us a lot during our stay , the location is good and the pool is very nice .
