Good location (very short walk to the main street yet very quiet and calm), good location to stary hikes in the area; extremely nice and helpful hosts; comfortable bed, good shower; you get not only soap but also shampoo,, toothpaste etc; the room didn''t feel that humid as for Ella; lots of birds come to the garden so you can observe nature. A very nice sunset visible from the porch;

This felt like the most personal homestay we stayed at. The owner was friendly and happy to chat to us but also knew when leave us be. The breakfast was excellent and huge, we had leftover snacks for our walks. The bed was supper comfy and we both slept like babies. Location was a 10 minute walk from the center which was perfect for us.

The host Mr Madhu is helpful. He help us to book the ac express bus from ella to colombo. He will try to help us to prepare the dinner, arrange tuk-tuk from the homestay. Location: there is a short cut from homestay, a small trekking road about 10minutes to the main road and bus stop. Mr Madhu's wife will prepare traditional Sri Lanka breakfast for us. I love the coconut pancake. The room & bathroom both clean! The small garden have sofa and some flowers. You can park your tuk-tuk here. We have a good rest here. The mattress just nice.

Great hosts who were very nice and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The breakfasts were really good with huge portions and fresh fruit and juice. Room had very comfortable bed and lots of room. The location is close to town and attractions. There’s a nice little shortcut to to get there even faster and it’s a very easy walk to Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. If you want to hang out at the property there are plenty of chairs outside. With only two rooms and the family living below, you definitely feel like you are a part of the neighborhood and lifestyle and get to experience more of the real Sri Lanka as opposed to staying in a larger more hotel-type place.

Great stay! The hosts were very nice and friendly. The room exceeded our expectations for the cost. The breakfasts were nice, and we had dinner there too one night which was also good. It's possible to rent scooters . The shortcut into town is very handy as well.

We had a good time at cinnamon Homestay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a small garden in front of the house where you can sit and relax and the location is awesome, quiet but close to the city (there's a shortcut, it takes you only 10 min to reach the city), and you can walk to little adams peak and nine arches bridge from there. They had a parking area for our tuktuk. There is just one other guest room in the house and the owner lifes in another house on the same premesis. Breakfast is also nice and Laundry service worked well :)

A great place to stay in Ella! The hosts are so friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean, the location is great (shortcut into town but also walking distance to the 9 arch bridge & little Adams peak) and the breakfast was delicious! They also made us dinner one night which was great. Would definitely stay here again!
