Such an incredibly beautiful place with amazing traditional black sauna! The place has absolutely everything you might want or need for a perfect weekend or even a longer holiday! P. S the hosts were amazing, one of the friendliest hosts I've ever had! They even surprised us with an amazing cheese cake! ❤️

Absolutely beautiful property with a nice garden and lovely pond! It was very quiet and serene. The house has everything you need, there’s nothing missing to make your stay complete! The hosts are also amazing, very considerate and thoughtful, making sure that you are informed, have everything you might need and are comfortable as much as possible! They also bake wonderful and tasty bread. The interior of the house is beautiful, it’s old but in a good way - everything feels and is very vintage, there are so many unique interior pieces and furniture, it feels cozy and well though out. I liked the authentic Latvian and Wild West touch of the place. Definitely worth every penny spent!

A wonderful, authentic guest house, where the ancient is successfully combined with modern comfort. Very hospitable hosts, an unforgettable experience in the black sauna, and swimming in the pond near the water lilies. A wonderful, spacious garden. Very beautiful and tidy place! The hosts also offer to prepare various, very tasty dishes and drinks - I recommend trying them!

This place is fantastic. Firstly the location is very central (2 minutes walk to a supermarket, 3 minutes to a nice cafe), but still quiet. Both the indoor and outdoor facilities exceeded our expectations and look better than on the photos. Very authentic design. The smoke sauna is also an exceptional experience, well equipped and prepared. Hosts are super polite and helpful. This place is a "must visit".

I have stayed with my friends in several guest houses in the Baltics and we can all agree that this was the best one :) it looks even better in real life. Some of the things we enjoyed: - idyllic outdoor area - lovely, very helpful hosts - cozy indoor area with many useful things in kitchen and bathroom - beautiful linen bedding - many tables were useful as we were working remotely - delicious cheesecake was waiting for us on arrival (if you like sweets, we recommend ordering chocolate/cottage cheese cake as well) - pleasant details (for example: musical instruments, fresh peppermints from the garden or cowslip tea in the kitchen) - everything is close to the house (shops, Basilica, gas station, lake), in general Aglona is a very nice place which unexpectedly offers outdoor activities (sups, pedal boats, bicycles) free of charge for 2 more years

Ļoti sirsnīgi, laipni saimnieki, kas gatavo izcilus ēdienus. Bija sagatavojuši mums lielu burku ar svaigām bērzu sulām. Namiņā izmanto linu gultasveļu, kā arī pieejami ļoti kvalitatīvi ķermeņa kopšanas un higiēnas līdzekļi kā BodyShop dušas želejas, šampūns, kondicionieris, Glister zobupasta, Madaras sejas kopšanas līdzekļi. Ir fēns. Namiņā ir daudz grāmatu, galda spēļu, tūrisma bukleti utt.
