Welcome Riad Sophora A heaven of tranquillity in the Medina of Marrakesh. Escape the noise and bustle after a day in the souk and relax in a beautiful and calm riad, newly renovated and decorated in a typical Moroccan style. - 15 minutes walk from the famous Jemaa el-Fna - Easy access, car park and taxis at 400 m. - Flexible arrival day. - 2 night minimum. - 10 minutes by car to major golf courts (Royal, Al Maaden, Al Melkis) The riad is booked exclusively.
My daughter and I are happy to open to you our house in Marrakech. Marrakech will transport you with its flavours, colours, and different life style. This Riad is my refuge where I can relax, and tank energy. I hope that you will feel the same positive energy in my house. I am not living in Marrakech, but Aziz will take good care of you. Please note that you will be asked your email address so that I can send you all details and documents. You have to fill in a contract, tourist authority announcement forms and give a copy of your passport.
Bab Aylen is the oldest part of the Marrakech medina. It is not touristic and you will enjoy the daily life of the inhabitants. It is a lively area with many market stalls, small shops and street vendors. Bustling with people during the day and evening, it is always safe to walk to the house after an evening out. As you are in the Medina, the best is to visit the city by foot. Take good shoes with you because you will easily make long walks. For transport in the city, taxis are the best means. If you need transport in the evening, you can ask Aziz to help for a taxi to Aziz, or use Hakim, the driver. For airport transfer it is best to use our driver Hakim who will ensure that you are accompanied all the way to the house. You can use the driver to go to the golf courses or to restaurants and sites. Hakim can also organise you excursions outside Marrakech, such as Ourika Valley, Agafay Desert, Essaouira and more.
