Lodge in a local landmark. This family-friendly, ground-floor home on one of Morocco and Tangier's most beloved pedestrian streets cannot be beat in terms of its location. Former Jewish villa facing the Kasbah wall, it is spacious, includes a delightful garden, and offers easy access to all points by foot,. Ideal setting for guests seeking an immersive experience in the heartbeat of the local community. Safer and quieter than expected. Memories made here.
We are open to giving a 30-minute orientation to all Guests who request this. We also can supply by email in PDF our Guide to the AirBnB.
This place is located in a neighborhood of neighborhoods. So much interest and positive interaction with pedestrians right outside the door that one wonders if it isn't the neighborhood that one is renting! So much connection with "life the way it used to be" ... The Old City and Casbah right there and markets and shops and PEOPLE everywhere. Even in the "low season" always a good down-home connection with folks. Very safe, too. (For eight years, Tim watched his kids grow up here.) Laundry service across the street as well as local groceries with friendly owners. By foot. Big time. Just about everything in walking distance. Taxis, for longer distances, all over and very affordable. Our taxi driver friends can come right to the door of the place. Three steps and you're in a taxi taking you to Asilah or Chefchaouen!
