My four week stay at beautiful Riad Ranya was perfect in every way, due to the kindness and thoughtfulness of Youssef, the Riad’s manager. Prior to Ramadan he served a wonderful breakfast on the terrace each morning. During Ramadan, he gave me full use of the kitchen and supplied all ingredients to make breakfast on my own. Riad Ranya was extremely clean and access to the onsite washer was much appreciated. The Medina was easily accessible. Taxis were plentiful for greater distances. Thank you, Youssef!

I liked this cute historic home very much. It’s in the heart of the medina with 3 minute walk to the main road (Recif). I communicated with the owners before my arrival and they met me in Recif and helped me with luggage. This is a family owned and operated guest house, and there is so much pride in everything they do. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and well taken care of by Youssef and his family. The tea on the roof top overlooking the medina in the evening was a highlight. The indoor courtyard and high ceilings of the rooms were an added bonus. Thank you for making my stay memorable. I’d definitely come back here.

Youssef and his mum Malika were the perfect hosts. Clean, private, huge rooms and big terrace, very quiet inside. Malika cooked amazing dinner for us one night, traditional tagine and salads all delicious. Breakfast was a treat with incredible orange juice!

Youssef Bey welcomed us at the square and escorted us all the way to Riyad. Despite our last-minute notice, he managed to make several phone calls and find us a guide who would show us around. When we learned that we needed to leave early to join the tour, he prepared a breakfast package for us to take with. He kindly offered to go to the station to change the time of our train tickets instead of us and successfully changed them. We were very pleased with our stay and Youssef Bey's assistance. We thank him sincerely.

Wonderfully beautiful and recently renovated historycal home in a quiet area, inside the medina. The property has easy access to bus, táxis and ATM. Walking distance to the tannery, madrasas and other tourist attractions. Rooftop was awesome, with perfect views for a delicious breakfast (or sunset). Youseff was very attentive and available, making my stay safe and pleasant.

-owner is a big asset who helped us a lot. He was telling about Fez for about 30 minutes. Few times a day he was asking if we need anything and he always knew the answer for our questions. - delicious and quite big breakfast with eggs, jam and cheese - amazing terrace view - very big room with big bathroom - located at medina but quite close to bus/taxi stop - hotel is beautiful it really looks like traditional home not made for tourists only - very good price for all of this

Incredible ancient property, recently restored almost to new. located inside the old medina, extremely quiet place, meters away the crazy crowded local market. We stayed in one of the smallest rooms, and really wasn't already small. Breakfast was incredible and staff where so nice. I will definitely return the next time I cross the ocean.
