Our riad maintains most of traditional Moroccan designs and is located in the heart of the Medina of Rabat, which is close to everything you may need. In 2012, Rabat, along with its Medina and five other sites, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you want to experience a traditional Medina atmosphere, you'll enjoy it here. Besides, you can also explore vintage items like a gas stove, sewing machine table, or record player with a loudspeaker... which will bring back old memories and allow you to appreciate the simplicity of Moroccan culture. While this simplicity may not suit everyone used to modern life, those who appreciate local traditions will love these experiences. It's like taking a trip back to the past. That's reason we've kept most of the traditional designs and utensils like cotton drapes and wool blankets in our traditional house, as a way of honoring Moroccan traditions
