This is a luxury hotel within the Bender fortress site, adapted to the environment. The rooms are large and well decorated (a bit overdone...). The hostess speaks very well English. The restaurant serves excellent food. There are various halls decorated in different styles. Nice view from the room. A visit to the fortress and the church within the same premises is nice and easy.

I especially recommend the pastries at the coffee shop.
The staff also assisted with me getting a taxi to Keshinev for cheap through a local agency.

This town has really improved int he last three years.
This town has really improved int he last three years. The castle area is pretty awesome. The churches in town are very nice. The restaurants are much improved. But there is limited things to do here. Don Corleone and Don Calliana are very nice cafes and smoke houses. For traveleres, I'd stay maybe one or two days. Also, the BS you have to go through just to visit isn't worth it, IMO. If you don't speak Russian, you are sunk here.
