We loved our stay at Villa Ana Marija. Our host was wonderful! Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. The grounds of the Villa are lovely. I would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and warm. Restaurant across the road was excellent. We had a car so the location was fine. Owner/Staff didn’t speak English but we were able to communicate fine! They also had filtered tap water so we didn’t need to take our own bottled water, very nice surprise!

Very clean sparsely furnished rooms, but many common areas for sitting as well as a nice garden in back which is inviting. The beds are comfortable Some of the rooms on the 2nd floor have balconies with a view of the wooded mountains. There's parking in a lot below the hotel. The owner speaks no English, but is so brightly chipper it doesn't really matter. The hotel internet connection is very good. There's a larger hotel across the street and down the hill with a restaurant, otherwise Durachka Reka is just a hamlet without services. You can shop down in Kriva Palanka (pop. 17K) at the bottom of the hill.

The apartment is located 2km up the valley from the Kriva Palanka center, but close to the restaurant (if needed). Room is large, clean and fresh. Equipped with basic stuff only: beds, chairs and coffee table, the wardrobe and TV. Bed is large and comfortable. There is electric heater for cold days. Access to common kitchen annex in the hall and separate large kitchen on the ground floor. Large garden with a lot of tables and attractions. Parking place. The valley is silent. You can feel mountain fresh air. It is close to visit Kriva Palanka, Monastir and Osogovski Płanina mountains. Hiking trail to the waterfall begins here. Good parking for motorcycles. The room was totally alright. A bit off the city but you just have to eat at the restaurant across the street. Amazing food for literally pennies. Can’t recommend it enough.
