Location. Location. Location!

There is ongoing construction works around the hotel which limited our movement around. Access to parking space was obstructed by the construction. The spa on the ground floor was not proactive enough, the staffs were looking and staring at us without a bit of smile on their face! And please, don't speak Chinese in front of your non-Chinese costumer, it is very disrespectful.

Room is clean. Aircon though old works well. shower and toilet bowl works well too. key is a card, easy to carry around. location is good. all basic toiletries provided. Carpark is right behind. Simple breakfast.

breakfast area should be better ventilated. no aircon or fan, pretty stuffy. the door beside the recep that leads to the room should be removed or automated. generally I thought the courtyard and common areas are pretty dark and with the staleness of old stuffs, the place looks really budget. I thought things can be cleaned up,opened up, brightened up etc. Road leading up to the hotel is very hard to walk too. with cars zooming by in the narrow road, your safety is in their hands.

The room we were given was very big and comfortable. It was newly renovated and we loved it.

The hotel facade was poorly maintained. courtyard was stuffy and breakfast was limited.

Hi, I would not recommend to anyone this hotel, as my stay was very bad, The aircond was not working as it was one ofe the basic needs as there were no windows and we were sweating, i informed the staffs and nothing was done. I stayed in much cheaper hotel before, but never had this aircoond problem,

The air-condition is not function well. When i compaint to the staff, they ask me to wait and wait until I feel cool. But lastly i also dint feel cool. Poor ventilation in the room

Location, easy to access the old town and the areas of colonial history.

Breakfast only adequate. Rooms were basic, tv did not have any english language channels. Wah basin looks pretty, but no means of regulating water temperature, nor a plg, and it is in the bedroom not the bathroom.Romms on the front of the hotel are subject to traffic noise.

Like's the antiques furniture around. Staff! are friendly surely can do better by do more for the guest and moving forward!.meant 'helpful & made friends.

TV..need to upgrade my room is '335' and lighting on the right side of the bed need to change 'bulb' is blow out and the door need to touch up kind of missing one piece! Before check the guest..hope my feed back will in improved soon..others okay! No comment.

Been back for the third time. Melaka is a beautiful city. Choosing to stay in heritage hotel is an experience for our friends visiting from England. The location is great and the only reason we choose baba house. Complimentary visit to Bird nest museum but not much to see except the shop.

The rooms are knackered after all these year. Need re paint every 2 years at least. I used to score them almost perfect first time we stayed. Not anymore. Used to have toasts. Now, just plain bread.

Very convinent to all the city visit and also the jonker walk was never a hassle.

Breakfast was too simple and never tasted good. They should have some Asian delights and for the bread the ain't any toaster. It does not to our expectation .

Location is strategic, near to Jonker Walk , 15 minit walk to tourist spot. Free entrance to Jonker bird House. Very unique pre-war antique houses.

Simple breakfast. Bathroom & room not really clean. Alot mosquitoes. The kettle is old & super dirty !! This is not acceptable.

The information racks was very useful, it was equip with small cards for tourist about local tourism spot..

Parking were limited.. If park outside, the local government enforcer would wrote ticket summon for you.. Happen to me..

Location and price are very good. In comparison to other hotels in Melacca it is relativery quiet hotel.

There was no window in the room, the only option to have some fresh air was to use air condition

The Baba House is an affordable place to stay for vacation. Its location is near to the famous Jonker Street, historical places and malls which is just within walking distance. Nevertheless, staying at The Baba House was really exciting and and comfortable.

The entire surrounding is more like a Chinatown, makes it difficult to find Halal Nyonya food. Watching TV at night wasn't a good idea for the TV volume couldn't be changed.
