Farmhouse lodge with a view of both the canal and the garden is located in the authentic Giethoorn Noord. Here you will experience the real Giethoorn, with the liveliness of the passing boats, but also the peace and quiet of nature. Please notice!!! The tourist center (with restaurants, shops and supermarket) is approximately 4 km away and public transport is very limited in this area so you need a (rental) car to get here.!!! If you want to come by boat, you can. There is a jetty in front of the house. Our house is located on the water and is therefore less suitable for small children and is only accessible via the walking cycle path (4 min), so the location is also not suitable for disabled people. Parking at 300m (free) We live in a quiet area, which means that it must be completely quiet outside after 22:00.
We look forward to welcoming you to our accommodation. For questions we are always available during your stay.
Giethoorn is located in the extensive National Park de Wieden and it is a fantastic walking and cycling area. But of course you should also explore the area with a whisper boat. Giethoorn is also a good base for, for example, a day trip to Amsterdam (approximately 1.5 hours by car or train), Meppel or Zwolle approximately 30 minutes by car or train.
