Vestfjord Panorama Villa (Revenes) is wonderfully located by the sea. It is cozy with lovely surroundings, smooth rocks, heather and some vegetation. At the same time there is a fantastic view from the cottage (both from the in and outside) to the mountain ranges, fjords and the ocean. The house was built in 2012, the quality and standard is high and comfortable. For me it is a plus that Revenes is a bit away from the daily traffic and noise (8 min by car to Lødingen). Here I find peace and quiet and I enjoy nature, the changing light and seasons. We have emphasised that Revenes is not only practical, modern and of a high standard, but that the aesthetic experience of being there is also good.
I am a professional photographer and have the landscape as my main field / artistic project. I am married to a classical musician and together we find a lot of inspiration in the surroundings both inside and around the cabin. Here we can both work, go for walks, listen to music, read, watch movies on TV or do the other things we do not get enough time in everyday life.
Vestfjord Panorama Villa is located very central for experiencing Lofoten (1.5 hours by car to Svolvær), Vesterålen (1 hour by car to Sortland), southern Troms (1.5 hours to Harstad) and Hamarøy. From this location you have all the opportunities to participate in whale watching, safari with ribs, horseback riding, city and restaurant experiences, fishing trips, hiking, cycling, farm visits, skiing, reindeer herders/farming, activities that are accessible close to and in the region. Nowhere else is more central if you like to explore Lofoten and Vesterålen. Arriving back after a days adventure, it is always good to relax at Vestfjord Panorama where you can enjoy bird and wildlife, the light and the view.
