Hopewell Lodge is in the heart of the Kenepuru Sound is easily accessed by boat from Havelock for only $30 per person. Enjoy a beautiful 30 minute boat cruise through the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sound, getting here is just part of the adventure. There are scheduled runs available. Or you can come to Hopewell by plane, floatplane, or kayak. And there is a water taxi service available from Picton, Portage and Te Mahia. We are happy to help you organize your transfer. Surrounded by native forest and turquoise water, Hopewell Lodge features a private beach area. Guests can soak in the outdoor hot tub, or relax in a hammock nestled between the trees. Guests can explore the picturesque surrounds and enjoy hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, fishing and sailing, for an additional charge. Free tea and coffee making facilities are provided and guests can enjoy gourmet pizza prepared on-site. The guest lounge offers a fireplace, a stereo and a range of books, magazines and games.
