The Summit Lodge offers B&B accommodations with free Wi-Fi access. Each room has a private patio and bathroom with under-floor heating. You can relax in the large guest lounge, which features a 52-inch TV with satellite channels, a surround sound system and a DVD player. The air-conditioned lounge opens out to the extensive gardens, and features leather recliner chairs and an open fire. Breakfast is included and consists of breakfast cereals, fresh seasonal fruit, yogurts, bread and jams. Cooked options include local bacon and free range eggs. Guests enjoy also free tea and coffee. All rooms include double-glazed windows, towels and bathrobes. Heating and air conditioning are provided.

Company info

Ex corporate senior manager, Tracey is now involved in local politics and community projects. She is a keen photographer and cook. Jim still works in sales and is a weekend golfer. He also enjoys cooking and when not on the golf course is in the garden. Both Tracey and Jim have travelled extensively and they love meeting people and swapping stories

Neighborhood info

The Wairarapa is only 90 minutes from Wellington City and yet we are surrounded by farmland and rolling hills. Where we are in Gladstone there is a school and a pub, wineries and farms. 15 minutes drive to the small towns of Masterton and Carterton and around 20 minutes drive to Greytown and Martinborough. It is a small, friendly community. Lots of fabulous wine is produced on our doorstep, the scenery is beautiful - in winter we enjoy views of snow-covered summits and sparkling frost. In summer it is hot and dry.
