I've stayed at the Posada Tres Marias more times than I can count. I travel to the Sacred Valley for business a number of times per year. The posada - a kind of bed-and-breakfast meets a pension - is always clean, the staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the price point is the best you will find in the Sacred Valley for a comparable place with the sort of cleanliness and friendliness of Tres Marias. The rooms are all very comfortable - but if you need more space, it is best to book the "suite" - a larger room with a queen bed. Every morning there is fresh coffee and juice, and made to order eggs. You feel like a member of the family. This is a great place for a low-key stay if you are traveling to the Sacred Valley for work or a quick turnaround trip. When you plan to experience the Sacred Valley for vacation . . . I have a lot of other places I'd recommend.

Offering nicely decorated rooms just 5 blocks from Urubamba’s main square. Wi-Fi is free. Trips to the Inca Trail, 25 miles away, are available. Posada Las Tres Marias offers rooms with homey-style décor, parquet or beige-tiled floors, wood furnishings and private bathrooms. Some rooms have views of Nevado Chicon Hill and include seating areas. A Continental breakfast with tropical fruit and regional jams is served daily. The breakfast area features wall-to-wall windows with views of the grounds and stone walkway surrounded by flower beds. Local flavors can be enjoyed upon previous request. Only 6 blocks from the inn is Urubamba’s picturesque farmers market. Las Tres Marias is 34 miles from Cusco City and a one hour drive from Cusco Airport.

Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

The hotel only attends the check in and check out from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Outside these hours no check in and check out is attended. Guests are not given keys to the property.
