Avida Towers Davao is a high rise condominium building situated along C.M. Recto Avenue, in the middle of the city's business district. A few walks from it are top business and leisure hotels, restauransts, banks, 24-hour ATM, a top university, a public park and a host of other specialty shops. The room is located on the 16th floor of the building, which gives guests a breathtaking sea view on the left and the majestic Mount Apo on the far right. It gives one a pleasant, bird's eye view of the locale. The fully airconditioned room is equipped with a fast internet, a double bed with pullout, a 43 inch wall mounted flat screen tv and closet. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing guests to cook and dine inside the room. The bathroom has a large mirror with hot and cold showers, complete with bath towels and bath amenities. Housekeeping, room service and front desk service are not provided. The host is easy to contact any time of the day for any concerns regarding the room.

It is fascinating to meet new people and host their stay in my city. We learn from them guests and consider their comments and suggestions so we may improve as host. I am staying outside the premises but me and my staff can easily be reached through mobile any time of the day.

Davao City is a metro city but is actually more laidback compared to other metro cities in the country. Public transportation within the city comes in the form of taxi, jeepney and tricycle (motor cab). The people, are friendly, easy to tourists and ready to offer directions or assistance. You will find that street vendors and cab drivers are fairly honest and do not overcharge.
