Oceanus Aparthotel    

I like having all the facilities of a hotel , including the room being cleaned daily and clean towels every other day, combined with the freedom of an apartment. The appartments are spacious.

Location,staff friendly ,indoor pool,cleanliness

Staff were all welcoming and helpful.

Beds are a bit lightweight

The staff were very friendly and pleasant, rooms were clean and quite large, good location(we had a rental car for getting around).

Oceanus is a very clean well equiped is in the center of the Village , the staff could not be better. it is well decorated , air condition- ing Hot and Cold first class well equipped kitchen Swimming pools very clean the indoor very warm A well run family concern it must be good always the same faces staying there every year we have been .

There is no draft Ale only bottles and it could do with some entertainment .it is a shame that if you are traveling by car it is so awkward to get motor way passes. We had trouble because our mobile would not work in Portugal Its not every body that as a mobile and it seems if you have not got one, Tuff , We found the motor way people who sold these passes had a could not care less attitude , and were no help at all.

We liked the freedom of self catering but having the facilities of an Hotel. The indoor pool was heaven for a winter break. The location was good too. Close to a beach,shops and restaurants.The staff were really nice and helpful

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Great value, nice and clean, rooms cleaned every day.

Pools were so cold, sun only hits them in early morning, had expected inside pool to be heated or at the very least the room to be heated, kids were shivering. Would not recommend for small children as there is know way to lock balcony doors in a way a todddler would not be able to open it, had to put tables in front of it.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable ideal for self catering. It is also very central to all shops and restaurants, and just a small walk to the beach nearby. We had a very relaxing holiday, and we will be going again.

The beds. Very hard and uncomfortable.

The location was good, excellent range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The services were excellent, indoor and outdoor pool, pool table, table tennis, bar and restaurant. Rooms were very clean and had all the facilities you need. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.

We booked well in advance and asked if we could have two rooms close together. On arrival the receptionist knew but one room was on the first floor and one on the third floor. The receptionist said that they were fully booked and could'nt put us any closer together. Some of the rooms were at the front of the hotel which overlooked a busy road. Indoor swimming pool was not heated. There was a small charge for the sunlounger pad near outdoor pool.

I was lucky to get a upper floor room with big balconies and a small sea view. Helpful staff. Near to the shops and restaurants.

The beds were a little hard for me, so I sleep on the sofa bed.

breakfast in the snack bar could do with some fresh fruit yogurts and a varietyn of breads and fruit teas ,

The facilities were fantastic, we arrived at 11.45am but were unable to check in untill 4pm(although we thankfully got a room at 2pm) They allowed us to store our bags and use all the facilities on offer including the changing rooms downstairs with showers and lockers. We were told to expect a basic accomodation but we were pleasantly suprised ok its not the ritz but all cuttlery and utencils you needed were available and the 1 bedroom apartment was very spacious. Also the location is handy for both beaches one to the right and one straight down.

The hill walk up to the hotel from the town is a struggle with a few drinks. Single beds I recommend getting a few cable ties before you go away or the string ties for bicylces.

Well behaved clientele. Quiet neighbourhood. All amenities nearby - beaches, restaurants, shops, buses, taxis.

Somewhat hilly approach to beaches not so good for frail or disabled.

The location was excelent and I have to say that Jaqueline from front desk and Regina from house keeping made our stay even better. I'd like to thank them for the excelente service, we will definitely come back.

As regular visitors to the hotel, we have always found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. For us, it is like visiting a family who we respect and admire.

We do not like sleeping in single beds!!!

Good clean complex and good sized self catering apartments.indoor and larger outdoor pool. Snack bar good value with well priced UK type meals.Staff very helpful and rooms serviced every day.

Actually, it was the Olghos D'Agua building. The location was very good, rather close to the beach, two supermarkets, some small shops, pharmacy nearby. The room was very clean, comfortable, well equipped, with a good sea view. The stuff was friendly and very helpful.

The only thing, absence of Wi Fi in the rooms and free Internet at least in the lobby.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent only a stone throw away from the beach. Rooms are very spacous and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more such as a cooker and hob, fridge, microwave and cutlery.

The pool bar was very strict on only buying their products. I was confronted by staff over drinking my own water. There is a steep hill down to the beach but well worth the trek as the beach is fantastic.

Very clean , friendly staff , nice pool area , food v good @ pool bar ,good crack with sandra behind pool bar when portugal playing football and the kitchen ladies (all great workers)
