Augusto was my grandfather, and I am proud to share with you his house, that I use when I am in Lisbon. Thoroughly renovated in 2023 to mint condition, with all the modern amenities for a family of six or young professionals. Casa Augusto is nestled in the heart of Lisbon and conveniently connected by metro, train, and bus, with the airport is just 5 minutes away, and easily accessible city exits. Park your car, grab a bike and enjoy the city, or stay home to enjoy the garden. Welcome to book!
I am a seasoned expat and passionate traveller and chances are that the same moment I welcome you, I am somewhere around the globe. I know that choosing the right spot to work or spend our holidays is not easy; that is why we look forward to helping you make the best choice, depending on your wishes, by providing clear information. Take a LOOK – Then BOOK! Although I live abroad, this has never been a hurdle to be available 24h x 7 days a year for our guests. I would love to welcome you in person but trust that we are permanently available through the Airbnb platform, chat and phone. Besides, we have dedicated staff for matters that require local presence.
Alvalade is a residential area that was developed in the fifties. It is mainly a residential area with nice shopping streets (check Avenida de Roma, Avenida da Igreja, Avenida Guerra Junqueiro), good infrastructure (schools, parks, playgrounds, sports facilities) and good public transportation access (metro in Roma and Areeiro, train in Areeiro and buses). It is very close to EXPO, the new neighborhood ( a few metro stops away) and to the city center (also a few metro stops away). The airport is 5 minutes away. Maybe you brought your car. You can park it inside, as you won't need it so much. I would dissuade you to drive into downtown, but it is not impossible. Just expensive to park. You can always decide how to move around. Two metro lines lie 800 mts from the house and train station is less than 500 mts and the bus line a mere 100 mts. Uber/Bolt are very affordable, too. You can also consider renting a bike, as you have a safe place inside the garden where to park. Check our guidebook or contact us for further information.
