Property info

Inglaterra by Central Hill Apartments is located very close to the most central and famous avenue of Lisbon – Av. da Liberdade (Liberdade Avenue). This is the perfect place to stay, since you are within walking distance from all the main places to visit in Lisbon’s downtown such as Rossio, Chiado, Bairro Alto, the City Castel and its picturesque neighbourhood called Alfama. It includes free Wi-Fi connection, TV, towels and bed sheets. Baby cribs can also be provided upon request and availability.

Neighborhood info

Downtown Lisbon, known as Baixa, entitled the city's heart, stretches from the riverfront on the banks of Tagus River to Avenida da Liberdade. Baixa is very much a gateway to Lisbon. You will pass it en route to just about anywhere and forms a vital link between the waters of the Tagus River and the many neighbourhoods that rise from its banks. This cosy apartment is perfectly located in Lisbon’s historical centre, right next to the most exclusive avenue in Lisbon: Avenida da Liberdade. In this downtown neighbourhood you can find everything, from the traditional handcraft shops, to top tier fashion brands for shopping, luxury and traditional restaurants, bars, cafes, theatres and many other interesting places. The oldest cinema in Lisbon, Cinema São Jorge, is just a few hundred meters from the apartment, as well as Teatro Dona Maria II and Parque Mayer. From the apartment, you can walk to Torel viewpoint, the fantastic São Jorge Castle, or to the riverfront and enjoy a sunny day. You can walk to Chiado and Bairro Alto and enjoy the great nightlife of Lisbon. This nice and secure neighborhood offers you a very interesting mixture between tradition and modern, all by walking!
