Additionally, the nearby beaches of River Alva offer idyllic spots for swimming and kayaking. At Quinta das Latas, immerse yourself in a blissful back-to-nature escape, where relaxation is paramount. Qunita das Latas is a sumptuous eco villa featuring a pool and tropical gardens. Set on the edge of a sleepy mountain village, you will enjoy breath-taking views over olive groves, countryside, forests and the majestic Serra de Estrela peaks beyond. Built in 1911 the impressive property is spread over three floors and features traditional architecture throughout. Nearby the River Alva’s beaches are perfect for picnics, swimming and kayaking. Located 17km from the cultural city of Coimbra and within 2hrs from Lisbon/Porto airports, Quinta das Latas is ideally situated for your relaxing back to nature escape.
We are a couple with 3 children, still fairly fresh to Portugal. The excitement of running the Quinta with sustainability and love of nature at the forefront of what we offer.
