The location is great. Very close to the bus and train station and close to the old town. The apartment is big enough, it felt really cozy. The air conditioner was a life saver due to the heat. I also have to thank the host that let us check in earlier! She was flexible and really helpful about it.

Ethno apartments and Ethno Studio are located on an excellent location in the heart of the city, just 7 minutes from the main bus and train stations. Since we are at the very edge of the pedestrian zone, all main city attractions (the Triple Bridge, the Ljubljanica river embankment, Ljubljana Castle, city market, museums & galleries) and the old town are reachable within 7 minutes walking. City Fair and congress centre Cankarjev dom is 400 meters away. Park Tivoli is also nearby, reachable by feet in a few minutes. We are located on the third floor of a fully renovated building from the 19th century with high ceilings and a nice city view. We have a brand new elevator. Bigger apartment (No.1 and No.3) are suitable for up to 4 people. Kitchen, dining area and living area are in one big space. Kitchens are well equipped - with dishwasher and microwave. Bedrooms and bathrooms are separate. In the bedrooms, there is one king size bed and one outstretched couch in the living room which can also become a bed. In bathrooms, there is a shower, sink, toilet and washing machine.
The host Milena is the owner of two galleries with traditional Slovene souvenirs and gifts. Both galleries are located in the centre - one is 5 minutes from the apartment and another along Ljubljanica river in the old town 10 minutes from the apartment (by feet). Milena offers her guests 25% discount for the souvenirs connected with Ljubljana/Slovenia. Some of them you can find on SKRINA website in the chapter “With ♥ from sLOVEnia.” The word 'SKRINA' means a wooden chest where our grannies used to keep various precious items intended for their daughters’ dowry. Ever since 1989, Ethno Gallery SKRINA has been searching through the grandmother's chest for some forgotten and hidden treasures. They have chosen the slogan »Ethno Gallery SKRINA – Tradition with Sentiment«. Besides souvenirs and gifts Ethno Gallery SKRINA offers: • traditional cottage industry and handicraft products • paintings and sculptures of renowned artists • advanced design products Ethno Gallery SKRINA, located on Breg 8 in the old city centre of Ljubljana, has been seven times chosen as the most beautiful shop in the field of cottage industry and handicraft in the campaign named "My Shop."
Ethno apartment (suitable for 2,3 or 4 people) and Ethno Studio (suitable for 1 and 2 person) are located in the city centre, just 300 meters from the main bus and train stations. Since we are at the very edge of the pedestrian zone, all main city locations (the Triple Bridge, the Ljubljanica river embankment, Ljubljana Castle, city market, Tivoli park) and the old town are reachable within 10 minutes walking. In the ground floor of our building you can find 24/7 fast food restaurant and numerous other cafés, shops, restaurants and pharmacy just a couple of steps away.The nearest grocery store can be reached within 10 metres, as well as parking house KOZOLEC and the city bus and the city bike station. Airport is at a distance of 20 km. PARKING A PARKING HOUSE KOZOLEC ON DVORDAKOVA STREET IS 10 METERS AWAY. THE EXIT FROM IT IS ALMOST IN FRONT OF OUR ENTRANCE DOOR (3 METERS AWAY). You can park also in nearby streets (Kersnikova, Dvordakova, Vošnjakova, Dalmatinova), but only for 2 hours – after 2 hours you need to change the parking.
