This was a single night visit to Bled to check out the area briefly. Pension Union was an economical and good choice for us. Clean, central and comfortable. The owners Tom and his brother could not have been more welcoming. We decided to try out their restaurant downstairs and we enjoyed a delightful meal of Goulash and an assortment of local charbroiled meats. Their specialty. Good portions and delicious.

Located on an elevated position in Bled, the Pension Union overlooks Lake Bled, the dramatically located Bled Castle and Mount Triglav. It features a wine cellar and gourmet dining restaurant. All of Union’s suites and apartments feature simple wood furnishings. They come with a separate living room, wooden or carpeted floors.There is also a cable TV and refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi is available at the bar and in all rooms. In Hotel Union’s restaurant, guests can sample characteristic Slovenian dishes such as Karst ham, homemade cheese and excellent Slovenian wines. The bar with outdoor terrace offers a variety of teas and beers as well as snacks. The family-run Union Pension is located in the center of Bled, just 492 feet from Lake Bled and Park. Bled Castle can be reached within 20 minutes of walk. There is a bus station and private guest parking in front of the hotel. Free garage parking is also available. Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is 19 mi away.

Pension Union has cental position, just 5 minutes to lake Bled. Everything you need is in a walking distance. We have our own parking, free of charge for our guests. Our family run restaurant Gostilna Union Bled offers breakfast and dinner.
