We had a great stay at The Tides. The 1br unit was spacious and bright. King bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had almost everything needed. Washer and dryer were a nice bonus. Location was also great, just a few steps from the beach and only 5min walk from our favorite restaurant Mr Grouper! We appreciated the late check out at noon plus the ability to leave our stuff and later shower and get ready in the gym downstairs. Staff were very nice.

The views are phenomenal - full glass balconies which allow unobstructed views of one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Property is well maintained and gardens are beautifully groomed. The beach staff are very helpful. Appreciated the cold water, SPF sunscreen and aloe vera stations scattered throughout the grounds for guest use. Complimentary coffee bar in the lobby every morning was a nice touch. Staff standouts- Catiana in reception, Erlie and Theresa at Coralli and Casa Nonna, MJ at the beach and Hyacinth in security leadership.

I had a great stay and the host was amazing. Great communication before the arrival and he came by during my stay to check in with me. He gave me some great advice for the island and he really cared about me having an enjoyable stay here. The property is in a quiet area pretty central of the island, I always felt safe and everything was easy to reach by car which is definitely needed for the stay there. The place was super clean and it had everything I needed from towels, cooking utensils, laundry and many little details. I stayed at the place myself, which was kind of a waste, since it has 2 rooms, plus a pull out couch, the rooms are nice and the living room which kitchen has lots of space. Thank you for the great stay and I can definitely recommend the place as a much cheaper option compare to all the expensive hotels on the island.

Villa Serenity was exactly what I expected for the price point. Just a reminder to the negative reviewers that this place is about 1/3 - half the price of the other resorts by Grace Bay.
The property has 3 units and I stayed in the one bedroom suite for the first few nights while working remotely, before moving into the larger family suite when my friend arrived to meet me. There is an omnipresent property manager onsite, Lionel, who is super helpful - his English is not the best, but I could get by fine with elementary Spanish. Shirlett was incredibly responsive via Whatsapp and provided me with instructions on checking in when I arrived. There was no email correspondence with instructions prior to my arrival, so just go with the flow.
The one bedroom was spacious and clean with great AC, kitchen had everything I needed, and TV worked fine (has live TV as well as apps on Amazon fire). Internet is not secure (does not have a password) and is very spotty in case folks need to a strong signal. The family suite was huge, with AC only in the bedrooms downstairs, thus the gorgeous living/dining room and kitchen were a bit too warm to hang out in. Mosquitos were definitely present, so make sure all the unscreened windows are shut.
The location is just west of Turtle Lake (use the icon on the map referenced on this site, not the address) and as other reviewers said you need to walk 15-20 min for a restaurant or grocery store. After renting a car, driving around the island was super easy as it's relatively small. When I arrived, the wooden-looking above ground pool in the property photos had been taken down, and by the time I left it was already replaced by a huge inflatable version - Lionel is the man! Thanks for a good time in T&C!

I was expecting more sights , overall extremely bad value for money .
Restaurants far too expensive as are products in the supermarkets .
Staff in most hotels were rude or indifferent . (Beaches was the exception , with all staff extremely pleasant and professional ).

If you love snorkeling this is the place to be.
If you love snorkeling this is the place to be. Voted 3rd best reef in the world. Tropical weather 80's in December. Or if you want to just sit and enjoy the sun....
I highly recommend an Air B&B since most of the resorts are expensive. Sarawack Estates is in the middle of the PLS airport and Grace Bay an excellent location.
Beautiful hotel and great value. A short walk to two beach options. Turn right to access the soft sandy beach, clear waters, miles of beach front to walk. It's very quiet there. Turn left if you want to snorkel and see the reef. The waters are calmer here. The hotel itself is perfect. Big bright modern rooms with beautiful views of the Marina. A few restaurants within walking distance.
We were looking for a cheap option near the airport. Incredibly convenient. Room was not the cleanest and getting somewhat rundown. But the bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were nice in the bathroom. I think for the price tag compared to other hotels down on Grace Bay, it was a very good value. The restaurant next-door was very good.
Beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed villa, not far from Grace Bay. Nice option for those looking for a more private vacation away from the crowds. Private pool with villa, very nice for small kids who can wade in the shallow water. 5 min walk to a beautiful beach with hardly anyone else around.
Beautiful looking hotel set aside the harbour, the room was very big and airy and looked spectacular.
The hotel had a golf cart to take us to the beach and nearby reef.
There were sun loungers on the beach the hotel provided a continental breakfast which was nice.
Lovely restaurant next door Baci.
The hotel itself was absolutely stunning. The whole grounds are very well kept, the room was modern and clean, the beach is small but still very nice and as it wasn’t busy, we didn’t have any problem getting a bed when needed. All of the staff were lovely and very accommodating.
lovely hotel, rooms are very bright and spacious. The bikes were a bonus. Head to Coconut beach (large rock at the roundabout leads to a narrow path to the beach Z has loungers there) Alex thank you for the info. would def return !!
The location was phenomenal! We loved having views of Chalk Sound and Taylor bay just a 2 minute walk away. We almost always had the beach to ourselves, which was lovely. The house was comfortable and Daphne was a wonderful host!
Everything looks exactly the same as in the pictures. The house was very clean and cozy. Tamara was a great host and very communicative and informative. It’s 3 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes from Grace Bay by car.
The room, and the hotel in general, is new, modern and in great location. I liked the area much more then Grace Bay that is full of resorts and hotels. This location provides great place for a relaxing vacation.
The receptionist refunded my money as I wasn’t happy and she had no alternative rooms.
Close to airport
Hotel itself had good pools and pleasant outdoor area
They provided a free shuttle to and from airport.
Location is good in the middle of Grace Bay. Great breakfast but the rest of the food options not that great. Great beach right in front. The cruises on the hotel catamaran are worthwhile.
I loved the location of the hotel. It was close to the beach and less than a 1 minute drive to a lot of shops and restaurants. The views from the top floor was beautiful
The location was a quick walk to the beach, the property is updated and has a washer and dryer in each unit. It’s a boutique hotel so small amount of guests.
