Blue Moon is a cozy and colorful beachfront bungalow located just steps from the peaceful bay of Chaloklum, the local fishing village of Koh Phangan. Wake up to sweeping views of a crystal clear bay framed by palm tree covered slopes. Splash around in the calm shallow shores, perfect for kids. And watch the sky change colors at sunset from your hammock. Our one bedroom beach hut is perfect for small families or couples, providing everything you need to relax and enjoy your island getaway. Our beach hut is compact but cozy with an unbeatable beachfront location and ocean views. It's the perfect space for a couple or small family looking to experience the local culture and family-friendly side of Koh Phangan. About the space: -The bedroom holds a queen bed with cozy mattress topper and air conditioning. A clothes rack and rattan baskets provide storage and there are two large windows to take in the view and ocean breeze. -The living room can sleep an extra guest on the sofa/futon mattress. A flat screen TV with basic channels and HDMI lead provided for your pleasure. -The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas stove, sink, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, cooking utensil
American/Thai/English family residing on the beautiful island of Koh Phangan. We love meeting people from all over the world, the nature on our doorstep, uncovering the secrets of our neighbourhood and sharing them with you.
Chaloklum is the hidden gem of Koh Phangan. Not only do we have the clearest and coolest bay for swimming, but the local vibe will make you feel like you're still in Thailand and not some tourist bubble. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and don't miss the Sunday night market on the pier for some great local eats. Taxi boats leave regularly from here so it's easy to plan a day trip to bottle beach or a neighboring bay. Chaloklum is also known for it's diving schools so, if you feel inclined, this would be a great place to get certified or simply go on a dive to Sail Rock, one of Thailand's best diving spots. Koh Phangan offers a wide range of activities for every type of traveller, from all night parties to kite surfing, wake boarding, holistic healing workshops and numerous yoga studios to choose from. Let me know your vibe and I'll find your tribe! The nice thing about this area is that it's very "walkable" with less traffic than the rest of the island.
