I have lived in Alaska for 15 years and have loved every minute. I am a mom to 6 children and I have an incredible husband who has done the updates and finishes on our cabin. We have been hosting friends several times every summer in our home and we're excited to have a special place to host new friends and share everything Alaska has to offer. I am available as much or as little as you would like to communicate. I live about 15 minutes away for any in person interaction necessary.

Soldotna is a fishing town on the Kenai Peninsula (called Alaska's Playground) about 2.5 hours south of Anchorage. Just a 20 minute flight can get you from Anchorage to Kenai (20 minutes away and sister city to Soldotna). Both Soldotna and Kenai are along the Kenai River and offer world class fishing with 3 varieties of salmon as well as rainbow trout. Halibut, rock fish, and other fishing may be easily accessed in Homer (1 hour 15 minutes away), Seward (2 hours away) and Ninilchik (40 minutes). The drive is always worth it to take in the gorgeous views. The cabin itself is situated off the highway about 5 minutes from town. Some light road noise is to be expected based on the location. Private cabin in a wooded setting on ponds allow for a secluded, yet accessible stay. A car will likely be necessary to access fishing and local amenities. We have an 11 passenger Econoline van available for rent with pick up at the Kenai airport.
