Adorable Downtown Baton Rouge cottage, located on Government St., in front of the River Center! 5 minutes from LSU! You can literally walk to everything downtown. This home boasts of high ceilings and original hardwood floors, with a spacious living room, dining room, and 3 private guest quarters. The large front porch, with a swing, is perfect for enjoying the Louisiana breeze.
Downtown Baton Rouge is easily walkable and friendly to bikers. You have easy access to the interstate and popular downtown attractions and restaurants. 4 min walk to City Hall 5 min walk to USS KIDD Museum 7 min walk to the Old Governor’s Mansion 4 min drive to Hollywood Casino 5 min drive to LSU Tiger Stadium The home has three private parking spaces for guests, located in the back of the house. There is also a bus stop on Government street (about a two minute walk from the home), and Uber/Lyft is available to pick you up on demand. If you're staying during the weekdays, Capitol Park Trolley Service is a FREE DOWNTOWN SERVICE that runs from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. The trolley runs every 8 minutes.
