Front desk Chad was not very personable or helpful. Said he didn’t know if breakfast would be served bc it was under construction. Didn’t help to find out. Construction pounding over our room for an hour.

This is a budget, practical hotel very well located. Manager is quite attentive and supportive of customer's need. She gave us quite a summary of the eating options around. We visited this hotel during the winter so most of the attractions around were dormant. This might be a great place to stay during the summer. The room was tight but confortable, clean. While on the basic side, our place had everything we need for a good rest. We much appreciated the manager gave us the chance to charge out Tesla with her level 2 charger. However, it's recommended to talk with her since the charger is located just right hotel offices and there's only one spot available for that.

Hocking Hills is one of the best hiking experiences I've had. I hiked 6 of the 7 trails and all were simply breathtaking. The only one I didn't do was Cantwell Cliffs. Cedar falls and Old Man's Cave were my favorites.

Love this town!!
Love this town!! Best time to visit is summer to beginning of fall time. If you love nature the cliffs are amazing. They have zip lining and helicopter rides and tons of places to eat so there’s always a variety!!
Location was great as we stayed at this location before the Covid period. The hotel was overall clean and was somewhat quiet. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff, other than "Gus" who was very friendly and very helpful during breakfast. The breakfast itself was good, but I remember it being better prior to Covid.
This was one of the most cleanliness hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable. Price was affordable. ALL of the staff were friendly, approachable and took the time to answer all our questions during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel. We most definitely will return.
The room was very spacious & clean. Bed was very comfortable.
Most of the time, when walking into a hotel, there is usually a smell in the hallway that is not pleasant. Here at Mainstay, it has one of the best clean smelling hallways. Thats how you can tell your in a clean environment.
We were vendors for the Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival, The cottage wasn't far from Logan, the cottage was super cozy, and the Hot tub after a LONG, Hot day, was absolutely the icing on the cake. There is absolutely no cell service. But thankfully the wifi is strong.
I liked the location, close to Logan and Hocking Hills. Queen bed was comfy. Cabin was well stocked. Loved the hiking trail, even though it seemed rarely used and was all overgrown. Beautiful there up on the hill. Loved the wildlife. Saw a deer two days in a row.
The staff was friendly. The jacuzzi was excellent. The location is perfect for Hocking Hills. I really appreciated the toiletries. They were very thorough. I've been to high end hotels that didn't have conditioner and that struck me as odd.
it was nice being able to take my dog with me. he felt at home with us. it was only 15 minutes away from hocking hills where we intended to go. being able to just go the the hotel after a long day of hiking was great. super affordable too.
The staff was very welcoming and offered suggestions about restaurants in the area. I left something valuable to me at the hotel. The staff made sure it was returned to me.
