“ I found Hudson hotel a very good place to stay. The location is great, the staff were always there for you, trying to help in everything you needed. Although the rooms and bath rooms were small (standar ones), they were confortable and quite clean and with a very good design. I'm sure I will recomend this hotel to my friends and family and hope to come back in my next trip to New York. ”

Especially appreciated being upgraded at check in to a quiet room on a top floor (which I requested). Brittany Bestafka was very helpful! Also two concierges who facilitated my getting metro tokens and checking in for my outbound flight.

Lovely looking hotel. The bed was comfortable. The Tequila bar/outside space was really lovely and very buzzy. The location was brilliant! The room was tiny - ok for a couple of nights (bed was very comfortable) but for 5 was a bit of a struggle. The food in the new Restaurant wasn't up to much yet was very expensive.

The hotel was conveniently located to Lincoln Center and Central Park and to restaurants and other attractions. We were impressed with the use of space in our hotel room which was small but very comfortable. I realize that we came at an expensive time of year. We really enjoyed our visit.

I liked the location I just did not like the hotel, particularly the micro sized rooms. And the airconditioning felt like "Katrina" was blowing through. The noise from the bar downstairs is another reason why I would never recommend this hotel.

Staff was very good. Friendly, courteous and helpful...Place was (or appeared to be) clean. The postage stamp sized rooms put you off immediately upon opening the door. I had to leave my cell phone outside because there wasn't enough room for both of us in the room. The bathroom was so small you couldn't sit on the pot, and the exhaust fan either isn't there or wasn't working. No hair dryer, no coffee, no amenities, except the iron and midget ironing board. The plate glass wall between the Room and the shower might be sexy, but at our age, it didn't do anything to enhance the stay. It looks like they took the normal rooms and subdivided them into 4 of the little rodent runs. All was clean, and the location, while not in the center of activity, was near anything that you would need, except times square and B'way. Prices were atrocious...from the room to the $20 per glass common wine in the bar. The only bargain was the free coffee in the morning at the door to the veranda. Some service in the veranda would be a nice touch. We realize that most of this is just inherent in the location - New York City! Must be getting close to being the most expensive city in the World...

Courteous, efficient staff Tidy room Creative in-room lighting Comfortable bed/bedding Exceptional TV reception Cozy room great for solo traveler/couples who travel light Fantastic location--near to Central Park and subway station I love subdued lighting, but (a) dimness+grey color scheme of corridors lent them a service tunnel atmosphere (b) some lobby areas were so dark as to suggest they were off-limits Room definitely NOT for people who travel with lots of stuff

So crowded! Getting whatever done took waiting lines for everything. That's really far from what you expect from a hotel. Rate was also way over what the hotel really is. So paying high fees for waiting in lines to accomplish minimum objectives is definitely insane. Furthermore, rate in the hotel to extend stay for one more day was %130 higher than the rate I was paying. Abusive late check out fee. Worst hotel experience in 8 years of travelling world's best hotels. : (

Overall design, bars. Good place to have one night stay or nights drinks, bars are fantastic Staff doesn't care about guest, at all. rooms to small, really. Bathroom not clean, bad smell and pocket size, not even enough space to put towels.. Crazy noisy, streets noise like if windows are open, and fan terrible permanent noise, you still sleep in the plane..even worst.

Loved the location and decor. Service was attentive and even though our room was not ready they were ready to help us Construction noise was terrible. Also the elevators did not work properly have the time so would probably recommend getting a low floor room unless you dont mind stairs.

Plenty of nightlife in the hotel, including many New Yorkers who come to the outdoor and/or indoor bar on the weekends. You can hear the noisy traffic outside, even in a 14th floor room. The rooms are small but absolutely fine for solo travellers.

i liked nothing - Waiting in line to check in more than half an hour!!! - your computer systems were down at checkin - The room is ridiculous in size, i am 5.9 and when i sit on the toilet my knees touch the wall, and that is not funny. - The rooms smell wet towels, yuck - the AC is continuously blowing in the back behind the bed, and is not central, yuck too. - n the morning the elevators were out of order, i had to walk up the stairs, and down with my luggage. - your room fridge is empty, the floor dispenser does not work, i had to go to CVS to buy water because you dont deliver to rooms. - i had to print something at the business centre, and it was a pig house, chips on the floor, empty glasses, tissues on the floor etc. and it is not designed for people who want to just print one paper, so i had to do that at the reception, the whole operation took me an hour. - my business ended that same day, and i was refused cancelation of the next day because supposedly i booked on booking.com (so bull) 480$ a night, i stayed one night and had to pay 950+$, shame on you, and the concept you represent. enjoyed it while it lasts.
