This home sits on a quiet street in Newry, just down the road from several restaurants, recreational outfitters, and the base of Sunday River. In winter, you'll find snowshoe trails directly behind the house; come summer, those same trails are great for walking and lead to a lovely brook. Nearby, you can catch movies at The Gem Theater in Bethel (five miles), go swimming at Frenchman's Hole (six miles), or take a memorable hike up Old Speck Mountain (17 miles). The house greets you back from your daily adventures with an abundance of log-cabin atmosphere.
