We stayed 4 nights/3 days in Anaheim - 1 day each at Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm, 1 day walking/bussing/shopping/eating locally. This was a good amount of time for our stay. Buses $5 per person for a day, good value and regular. Panini Kabob Grill - Anaheim was a stand out restaurant for us, beautiful fresh food and portion size.KarlaNew Zealand - 10Scored 10
This location was a great location.
This location was a great location. It was fairly close to the park and allowed us to cut through the Grand Californian. While we could have also continued through downtown Disney, we avoided majority of the crowds. When we returned to the hotel about 12am, the atmosphere was a bit more "sketch" as the homeless population was either walking around or sleeping. However, I never felt unsafe. Even though it was against a busier road, you could not hear much of the traffic even as soon as you got into the parking area. The room was a great layout as well. The bathroom was around the corner from the bed, so you could get ready for the day without waking the entire room.

We only went to Disneyland. The Riviera Hotel was about a 3/4 mile walk from the security gates at Disneyland/California Adventure. That is a bit of a walk but closer hotels cost much more. For a place to sleep and shower, the Riviera was a good value.
