After completing my bachelor’s degree at South Dakota State University; Myself and my wife Miriam Mohammed Moved to Houston Texas, from a small-town Brookings South Dakota, to a big city lifestyle. Just months after working for the retail giant “ Walmart” and my wife working for KinderCare organization, we made the decision to do something different to achieve a better quality of life. For years, we dreamed of creating our own real estate business but didn’t know how it would work. We just knew we had to start somewhere; so, We just jumped right in and decided to make our dream a reality. We invested a lot of money in educating ourselves and having a support system that will guide us to their ultimate real estate destination. With a goal of working together in real estate while doing what we love, desire to share our passion for real estate with others. As we began to develop our company and carve our niche in the big world of real estate, we quickly realized that there was a distinct need for certain real estate services we originally did not foresee. So, we decided to collaborate with a set of companies - where in collaboration with one another, we would offer a package of real estate services under one large umbrella.

The community was developed beginning in 1969 by James H. "Mac" MacNaughton. A friend suggested that he travel to the area to do land scouting, and MacNaughton decided to buy what became Quail Valley because he believed from its appearance that it could be developed into a country club community. He named it Quail Valley because a lot of quail were in the area at the time. He initially bought 600 acres (240 ha) of space and began living in Quail Valley when it first opened. A golf course was added and additional land was acquired. Development of houses generally ended at the end of the 1970s although a few new homes were built in the following decades. In the 1970s the community hosted several golf tournaments conducted by the Houston Open. In 1985 MacNaughton gave up control over the community country club and sold his Quail Valley lands. In 2008 MacNaughton died. The former Executive Nine golf course, acquired by the city government and turned into a public park, was renamed MacNaughton Park.
