Tentrr partners with private and public landowners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor locations. Our campsites are off-the-grid, meaning they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform. Larger parties can also use an extra 5-person pop-up tent stored onsite. You'll also have a picnic table, a dry box for storage, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs for outdoor furniture. Please note that heating units and fire pits may sometimes be subject to fire regulations and temporary burn bans - verify with your Tentrr Host and plan accordingly if these items are unavailable. The availability of other amenities like bedding or firewood also varies from site to site (some sites are more rustic and bare-bones than others), so we recommend reading through the listing description carefully before booking. Secluded Campsite Located on Colden Springs Farm in beautiful Hudson Valley Take a short 3-5 minute walk down an old farm lane to find your off-grid campsite tucked within our 42-acre vegetable and livestock farm. Bring your own sheets, pillows and blankets, or add it as an "extra" for a hassle-free stay. Wood is available for sale on site, 1/log. Our tent is equipped with a propane fueled heater - bring a tank if you have one; otherwise, a full tank can be rented for 15. Well water (treated with a UV filter) is located near the parking area - a large water cooler will be pre-filled at your site for your convenience . A charcoal grill is available for use (we recommend brining aluminum foil for easy clean-up). All "extras" can be paid for on site, or through Tentrr's booking site when you make your reservation. This is a primitive site - no electricity or water, so please plan accordingly. Site guidelines This is a carry in/carry out site - please leave the site as you found it and take everything with you. Please deposit trash in the garbage and recycling bins when you depart (located in front of the barn next to the white house). Secure all food to avoid scavengers and wildlife from scoring a free meal. Properly put out fire pit and charcoal grill before you sleep or leave the site. You are welcome to walk the grounds but refrain from petting or feeding any farm animals. Take care around the white-stranded electric fences as they are live/hot. Dogs are welcome but must be well behaved and under restraint, especially around the farm animals.
